Will my cast iron caddies break?

Although cast iron is heavy it is somewhat fragile and can crack, so care should be taken when placing your plants on the caddies to prevent breakage.

 
If you are going to store it for any period of time, wrap it up as if you  you were going to ship it.  Put it in a sturdy box in case it gets banged into inadvertently.
